Company description
|
Compusult is a Canadian-owned Information Technology (IT) and electronics company that has been in operation since 1985. Our primary focus is geospatial technologies to meet defence, aerospace, and government needs. We are also extensively experienced in design and development of custom and commercial software and electronics; systems integration; and secure data centre operations and hosting services, especially for Web-based applications. We are also a leading designer and exporter of products for persons with disabilities. Our Canadian offices are in Mount Pearl, NL; Halifax, NS; and Ottawa, ON. Since 2007, we have alos operated a U.S. subsidiary, Compusult Systems, Inc. (CSI) in Reston, VA.
Our flagship product, Web Enterprise Suite (WES), is an integrated suite of software applications, based on open standards, for efficient, cost-effective creation of Web-based geospatial portals for centralized data discovery, collaboration, sharing, management and interoperability. These portals are deployed for applications in Defense, Homeland Security, Situational Awareness, Sensor Data Access and Management, Environmental Monitoring and Management, Emergency Management and Response, Public Health and Safety, and Resource Management. WES, an established Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product, is the most comprehensive and cost-effective geospatial portal solution available today. Our broad range of WES clients include the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), major DoD Prime Contractors, the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND), NASA, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). Compusult has been exporting our products and services internationally since 1987. Our primary market is the USA. We also export to Japan, Korea, Australia, Norway, and the EU, and anticipate future sales of WES and associated services to government and defence clients in Latin America. |
