Excelitas Canada offers a broad range of optical sensing and detection solutions that measure temperature, movement, light, distance, and gas. Our specialty sensor solutions are ideal for industrial, automotive, safety and security, medical, analytical, and consumer applications. Our products include silicon avalanche photodiodes pioneered by this site in the early seventies, photodiodes, photodiode arrays, lasers and single photon counting devices and modules as an alternative to photomultipliers, and plan to launch recently SiPM sensors. We also design and build optoelectronic modules for use in defense, mil-aero, medical, scientific, and other sophisticated systems.
