We work with Peruvian fresh, processed and organic / biodiversity food. We also act as consultant in Latin American food.
In fresh food we deal with: - avocados grapes mangos mandarins tangelos bananas pomegranate watermelon oranges Brazil nuts without peel, pecans, etc. - In fresh vegetables we have: asparagus onions garlic lettuce, etc. To be more prepared to deal with frsh food, Delta International is member of the Dispute Resolution Corporation DRC, North American organization dedicated to making the business of fresh fruits and vegetables process in an ethical and professional manner. In processed food we have: - In canned there are prepared asparagus, prepared artichoke, prepared olives, canned olives, tomato paste, prepared palm hearts, prepared shelled beans, etc - In frozen there are asparagus, mangos, strawberries, mango pulp, sweet corn, etc. - In juice there are passion fruit (maracuya), lemon juice, etc. - In dried there are oregano, lemon dehydrated peel, etc. - In genre capsicum can be canned, dried, milled, paste, power, resin, frozen, brine (salmuera), sauce, etc. The main are pimiento piquillo, jalapeno, rocoto, amarillo, panca, habanero, mirasol, dulce, pimiento rojo, pimiento morron, otros pimientos, etc. - In beans there are blackeyed beans (frijol castilla), peas (arvejas o guisantes), lima beans (pallares), pigeon beans (frijol de palo), kidney or white beans (frijol comun), faba beans (habas), lactao beans (frijolito fresco), yellow or canary beans (frijol canario), etc. In organic / biodiversity food we have: - The main Peruvian organic products are: coffee, banana, quinoa, mengo, jengibre (ginger), maca, nuts, jojoba, asparagus, avocado, panela, etc. - The main Peruvian biodiversity products are: cochineal. tara, brasil nuts, annatto (achiote), giant corn, quinoa, maca, amaranth (kiwicha), purple corn, cat claw, lucuma, etc. - The main Peruvian cocoa products are: cocoa beans, butter, powder not sugar, paste wholly defatted and paste not defatted.
