Our systems for event planning ensure that all details are handled quickly and efficiently. Our well-organized and detail-oriented coordinators have the creativity and initiative to stage any event successfully. The expertise available within our company to plan your event include:

• Agenda planning and workshop coordination/facilitation;

• Extensive experience in completing logistical arrangements for meetings from 10 to 2000 people;

In November of 1998, Hunter-Courchene was created to provide products and services for all types of meetings and conferences from start to finish including Facilitation Services. Since our inception, Hunter-Courchene has gained practical experience implementing diverse facilitation tools to a broad range of clients.

Hunter-Courchene has facilitated workshops and conferences for the Assembly of First Nations, the National Aboriginal Health Organization, the Aboriginal Healing Foundation, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Health Canada, the Department of Canadian Heritage, the National Association of Friendship Centres and the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples.

Working with our clients, we are able to identify, develop and implement facilitation tools that will meet your workshop or conference goals. Our facilitation services include:

• Establishing an appropriate working agenda for the meeting leading to a final meeting program;
• Establishing an appropriate facilitated process that will achieve the expected outcomes of the meeting;
• Providing logistical assistance to Conference Masters of Ceremonies so that they can concentrate on the required stage duties;
• Debriefing with client at end of each day to ensure facilitated process is achieving the expected outcomes.

The process tools used are selected and finalized with you and are intended to be flexible enough to allow a group to work in an environment that is conducive to meeting your goals

Hunter-Courchene has built a solid reputation and has extensive experience in the management of all types of projects. Our experience includes the management of local, regional and national initiatives that have had varying clientele. We have worked with Aboriginal organizations within the urban centres of Canada and with First Nations within their home communities.

The key to all of our managed projects has been an emphasis on expenditure tracking; developing and implementing efficient administrative systems; and, consistent communication, ensuring that the project administrators and their clients understand the project goals and deliverables and that there exists clear communication channels between the two parties. Our goal is to exceed the deliverables and outcomes for each project and to determine the level of success through an evaluation process.

Hunter-Courchene has established a network of professional associates that have worked with us on a number of evaluation projects.
