iBwave Field equips field technicians and on-site personnel to perform site surveys for in-building networks. They can identify structural issues and possible equipment locations, working with 2D floor plans that can be annotated. They can view and modify the building’s configuration and properties. And they can also import survey data and trace routes from collection devices, and display results. For troubleshooting, iBwave Field gives technicians an exact representation of the as-built network overlaid on the building floor plan for quickly identifying sources of problems and capturing design changes. Plus, iBwave Field offers a full range of project documentation, from floor plans to design plans and picture plans, as well as equipment lists, cable routing, link budget reports and more.
The Optimization Module is an add-on module to iBwave Design that takes in-building design to the next level by bridging the gap between indoor and outdoor wireless networks to fully leverage and integrate indoor designs with outdoor signals and interference. It is used in combination with the Propagation Module. The Optimization Module helps you design more effectively and analyze data throughput to support bandwidth-intensive applications on the latest generations of smartphones, such as video and audio streaming, gaming, Internet browsing, voice over IP and email.
The Propagation Module is an add-on module to iBwave Design that delivers advanced 3D modelling and indoor and outdoor propagation prediction on your floor plan and building structure to simulate the network coverage in different areas of the building.
iBwave Assure offered as quality assurance services are offered by wireless in-building experts to wireless operators to help them validate and verify compliance of network design with best practices before deployment, for optimal reliability.
