Company description

Air Nunavut Ltd. was established in 1989 in Iqaluit with the goal of transporting people, food, supplies, and medical services to the remote communities of the Eastern Artic. Today, we operate a growing fleet of Beechcraft King Air 200 twin-engine turboprops from the Iqaluit base.

Air Nunavut's southern Ontario division, called SmoothAir Charter, operates a fleet of Dassault Falcon 10 jets from the Oshawa Airport, located just outside Toronto, Canada.

The company offers charter services throughout North America, Greenland, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Air Nunavut also offers critical care Medevac and patient-transfer operations.

With a fleet of aircraft capable of landing on unpaved runways, the company also offers cargo/freight movements, flights to mine and mineral exploration sites, and is certified in the transportation of dangerous goods.

Available for departure within one hour, Air Nunavut and SmoothAir Charter aircraft are ready and waiting 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
