Company description
|
Brock Health Administration Ltd. offers and manages Private Health Services Plans (PHSP) on behalf of over 2,200 small & medium sized businesses across Canada. Brock Health is one of the lowest cost provider of PHSP's in Canada.
A PHSP is for businesses to provide health benefits to the owners and their employees while enjoying substantial tax savings. A PHSP is a low cost alternative to Insured Plans. Main Distinguishing Features of a PHSP: A PHSP can be used by sole proprietors, self-employed, contractors, consultants, tradesmen, professional corporations as well as traditional incorporated businesses. There are no premiums; the business only pays when a claim is submitted. The business funds the entire cost of the PHSP plan and claims a 100% tax deduction. The cost is a fixed percentage of the claim so the business owner knows exactly how much they are paying for employee health benefits. Reimbursements to employees are not taxable benefits. The Covered Services eligible under a PHSP are more comprehensive than most Insured Plans. They include almost every health service provided by registered health care practitioners. |

A Private Health Services Plan (PHSP) is a program for small businesses in Canada allowing 100% deduction of costs of operating a health benefit plan as a business expense, regardless of the number of employees. The reimbursement payments from the PHSP to your family members are not considered income, so no tax is paid. A PHSP does not have the income restrictions and thresholds for medical expenses like personal tax returns even though they use the same allowable medical expenses list defined by Canada Revenue Agency. |
