Business development arm of the Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA), and 100% Inuit-owned by KIA, working on behalf of the beneficiaries (under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement) of the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut. Kitikmeot Corporation holds majority business interest in a number of joint venture companies including Kitikmeot Cementation Mining & Development, Kitikmeot Blasting Services, Kitikmeot Caterers, Medic North Nunavut, Geotech Ekutak, Kitikmeot Tire Mine Service Ltd, and Tundra Site Services North. Other Inuit-owned companies in which we participate actively but with a minority interest include Nunasi Corporation, Nuna Logistics, Toromont Arctic, Diamonds International Canada, NCC Investment Group, Larga Ltd, Larga Kitikmeot, Top of the World Travel & Tours, Nunavut Sealink & Supply (NSSI) and Nunami Stantec. Kitikmeot Region Properties Inc, and Kitnuna Corporation, are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Kitikmeot Corporation.
