Uberflip's automated technology allows companies to convert flat, boring multi-page PDFs into engaging web-apps - delivered through the browser - for desktop and mobile access. All aspects of the PDF such as bookmarks and links remain in tact.
By leveraging HTML5 technology for mobile, and flash for desktop, Uberflip is able to replicate original PDF as the starting point. Customers are then able to layer social elements, such as twitter/youtube/flickr widgets directly over the page. The content is delivered as a unique link instead of a bulky file, allowing for easy distribution and for advanced analytic data gathering. Uberflip customers can see detailed statistics on which pages of their documents are read the most, for how long, and even where their audience is zooming in on pages. Furthremore, a page-level integration is available with Google Analytics, giving even further detailed insight into documents, for what was previously only available for websites. |
