Coolers for Closed-Loop, Open-Loop, In-Line or Drop-In tank applications are available in a wide range of capacities. Precise temperature control is maintained while minimizing downtime in any harsh industrial environment. Our coolers set the standard for quality and reliability of industrial liquid coolers around the world.
These chillers achieve: 1. Close coolant temperature control of machine components such as spindles, ball screws and machine ways to minimize center line migration and 2. Close cutting fluid temperature control to minimize heat distortion of the workpiece. Furthermore, lower temperature coolants increase tool life while reducing oxidation and evaporation and temperature control of hydraulic oils, lubricants, and coolants help to stabilize workpiece positioning. Today a complete line of oil and coolant coolers is offered for many applications from machine tools to medical equipment, linear motors to hydrostatic bearings, lasers to X-ray equipment, EDM to high-speed spindles. Our coolers provide the precise temperature control of recirculating coolants that is necessary for precision machining and reliable equipment operation. With capacities from 2,500 to 360,000 BTU/HR, coolers are available for Closed-Loop, Open-Loop, In-Line, or Drop-In tank applications and are specifically designed to cool either water-based coolants, light oil or synthetic coolants. They are available with a long list of options and accessories, allowing an engineer to design the best cooler for the specific application. Portable milling electrospindles with high speed attachment - A new generation Electrospindle for machine tools to be used in the finishing of molds and models. As a compact and powerful spindle motor with thermal switch protection for high duty cycle, equipped with sealed lubrication, hybrid ceramic bearings which minimize axial deflection these serve as a high speed spindle attachment.
Milling electrospindles and milling spindle - For high speed milling spindle motor applications, these electrospindles have manual tool change for conventional machines. Each motor has hybrid ceramic bearings supplied with sealed lubrication or with air-oil systems for special applications. Milling electrospindles, cnc spindles and milling spindles - CNC Electrospindles with automatic tool change (ATC), vector control (series TCV) or without (series TC). Both versions are equipped with: Sensors to check the tool change operations. Hybrid ceramic bearings with sealed lubrication or air-oil mist lubrication for higher speeds. Asynchronous or synchronous, high frequency spindle motors with thermal protection. Thru spindle coolant. Internal coolant system to ensure dimensional stability and capability. Air purge ready. Grinding electrospinldes and grinding spindles - Grinding motor spindles are used with either SCHAUBLIN D type collets (for mounted points) or internal grinding quills, for grit or CBN wheels, on conventional or CNC grinders. These compact, high power, high speed spindle motors are provided with hybrid ceramic bearings, lubricated with an air-oil system to ensure long life. High speed heads for planetary grinding operations, planetary grinding spindle motor - High Speed Heads for Planetary Grinding are used to grind holes (Ø 2 to Ø 300), profiles and cams with manual or automatic radial movement. Of simple electrospindle construction, self cooled and with hybrid ceramic bearings with sealed lubrication, the speed is adjusted from the CNC machine's control of the high frequency inverter. Block electrospindles for cncn machine tools and bi-directional heads - Electrospindles of light weight alloys, having high speed spindle motors to 50 kW. All accessories and tools are available. This results in less contact between the toolholder and spindle ID taper. This can cause tool chatter, tool run out, poor machine performance and repeatability. Occasionally, an ID taper is damaged from a escaping toolholder. The raised portion of a gouge causes serous tool run out. These worn and damaged conditions can usually be corrected with a light grinding of the spindle taper. On site spindle taper grinding on the machine is a cost effective way of improving the accuracy of your machine by repairing damaged or worn tool seats. This is done on the machine with respect to its geometrical condition. The process requires an average of eight hours to complete and the taper conformity is checked by using a certified plug gage and test mandrel. Through this process, removal and reassembly of the spindle is eliminated, thus providing considerable savings in machine down time and cost. Occasionally machine spindle tapers become so severely damaged that regrinding the taper is insufficient to return the taper to usefulness. We can build a hardened insert to adapt to the end of the spindle so that the spindle is again useable as originally intended.
