CORPORATE OVERVIEW: GEOSYS Technology Solutions Ltd. (www.geosys.ca) is a full-service geomatics company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. GEOSYS is in the business of delivering geospatial information systems, services and value-added products. It provides large volume, fast-turn-around data processing capacity using leading-edge technology to the remote sensing and geomatics industry. GEOSYS has a pool of talented staff of geospatial experts specializing in aerial triangulation, orthophoto production, planimetric and DEM extraction from stereo imagery, 3D city modeling, cartographic map finishing, and GIS data integration. GEOSYS has skilled management with an average experience level of 20 years in the field of geospatial information products, systems and software engineering. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES GEOSYS employs state-of-the-art photogrammetric and digital image processing technology, which allows extraction of map information from air/space-borne imagery for use in Engineering and GIS applications. Through photogrammetry and remote sensing technologies, GEOSYS provides geospatial data for use in a host of applications. The primary types of services are divided into the following two groups. i. Geospatial Information Products and Services GEOSYS provides a complete range of mapping services for clients around the world. GEOSYS can custom design the best mapping solutions in the industry using end-to-end project management to modular services that allow clients the flexibility of selecting specific tasks. Geospatial Information Systems and Solutions Automation is driven by the need to minimize workforce challenges, and reduce labour intensive operations in the production environment. Workflow engineering requires a deep understanding of the processes and an extensive set of mathematical tools to enable automation. GEOSYS’s staff has a strong IT background with a solid foundation in the theory behind programming languages and different paradigms. GEOSYS’s technical resources in map production, together with the life-cycle methodology for software development, enable the company to implement innovative solutions for internal use and potential clients.
