Cindy Crowe of Cindy Crowe Consulting will utilize her experience and her contacts in Ontario to provide these deliverables while working in conjunction with the Ontario Power Authority staff and other Ontario Power Authority identified resources to conduct this project. Cindy Crowe is currently working with all five Provincial Territorial Organizations (PTOs) while conducting a Train-the-Trainer Asset Mapping project with the Chiefs of Ontario. She has worked extensively with Nishnawbe Aski Nation since 2000 (including budgets over $5 million) and the Independent First Nations since 2006. In addition, Cindy Crowe works closely with the Métis Council of Thunder Bay and has a good working relationship with the Métis Nation.Cindy Crowe Consulting uses her contacts with the people in the province to liaise between government and First Nations on various matters, such as: Train-the-Trainer for the Chiefs of Ontario; Coordinator of Oski-Machiitawin (New Beginning) for Nishnawbe Aski Nation; Contractor for the Independent First Nations on various matters; Regional Coordinator for the Northern Ontario School of Medicine; Community Coordinator for the Waabi-ma’iingan (Grey Wolf) Traditional Teaching Lodge; and, Past Chair of the Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
As a status member of the Robinson-Superior Treaty Area, Cindy Crowe is recognized among the Aboriginal community and is able to identify with the people and culture. This allows her a connection to the people and is comfortable facilitating community discussions and visioning exercises.
Cindy Crowe is a full member of the ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED ENGINEERING TECHNICIANS AND TECHNOLOGISTS (OACETT) Membership # 62645 and is recognized as an Applied Sciences Technologist.
