Canpotex, the world's premier potash exporter, is an international marketing and logistics company wholly owned by the Saskatchewan potash producers Agrium Inc., The Mosaic Company through its wholly owned subsidiary, Mosaic Canada Crop Nutrition, LP, and Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc.

As a competitive world supplier, Canpotex markets and distributes Saskatchewan potash to customers offshore—principally to countries in Asia, Latin America, and Oceania. Operating since 1972, Canpotex has corporate offices in Saskatoon, Singapore, Vancouver, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

Canpotex’s potash sales average approximately 8 – 9 million metric tonnes per year. Canpotex has sold nearly 200 million tonnes of potash to approximately 60 countries since inception. Its major international markets include Australia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea and Malaysia.

Canpotex’s Marketing team maintains direct contact with buyers around the world and bring vast industry experience to the task of meeting customer requirements for potash used in both agricultural and industrial applications.

A cohesive Operations group maintain daily communications with its shareholders, mine sites, railways, and terminals to ensure cargo availability and timely loading of vessels at port. With an extensive vessel chartering and brokerage network, and in-house expertise in ocean transportation, Canpotex offers comprehensive ocean freight services to its customers.
