Dedicating its business solely to this type of product has resulted in a highly focused approach to the unique characteristics for low cost circuit board manufacture, allowing Lightning to compete on a worldwide basis. Working routinely in the automotive, telecommunications, consumer products and industrial control market sectors, Lightning provides comprehensive customer support, effective response on design changes, custom-tailored processing and Just-In-Time capability. Formal quality management programs supported by in process quality control have long been a cornerstone of the operation. Manufacturing to full UL approvals, processes are controlled utilizing SPC and ISO9002 procedures. Very skilled personnel and up-to-date, highly productive manufacturing facilities assure conformance to specified design parameters ensuring competitive solutions to many technical circuit problems. Lightning's circuits are currently being used in new automobiles (by both North American and Japanese vehicle manufacturers), domestic and business telephones and in a wide variety of consumer appliance products ranging from smoke and security alarms to kitchen appliances and energy conservation devices. Approximately 30% of Lightning's sales are currently exported to the United States with a further 5% going to Mexico and Europe (U.K., France, Ireland). Utilization of a network of commissioned sales representatives in the United States has proven to be very successful in capturing and servicing this rapidly growing segment of the company's sales. Lighting Circuits has a full range of single-sided capability including: - Prototype to high volume processing - High volume punching, drilling, routing and scoring - Tool and die design and procurement - Conductive ink screening.
