“We’re looking to change our position in the marketplace”Client: Stemergy
Required Change:
Hempline was a pioneer organization that single handedly worked to change legislation to allow for the industrialization of hemp fibre. However, the name Hempline was proving to be an obstacle with potential investors and banks. Our objective then was to effectively rebrand the company to better attract potential investors while simultaneously positioning Stemergy as a global leader in renewable fibre technologies.
Solution:
A rebranding exercise led to the development of a new name and identity. The final design solution featuring plant stems turning into a bar code perfectly positions the company as a provider of raw plant material that is turned into products.
And since we developed an entirely new word, initial Google searches rendered zero search results which is simply unheard of in this day and age.
The new web site, print collateral and display optics have all contributed to the remarkable reinvention and subsequent success of Stemergy to date.
Results
The official news release dated June 2, 2008 announced the government funding of 3.3 million dollars. The first of many, we believe.
