When you choose Heritage Education Funds, you will be connected with a dealing representative (an RESP expert) who will meet with you at a convenience time and place to advise you on your child’s Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). We make sure to guide you in the right direction from start to finish, and ensure your children’s educational funds are properly invested to achieve optimal results, in a strategic fashion. Our staff will work with you each and every step of the way, from obtaining birth certificate records and social insurance numbers, to applying for government grants – we make sure all aspects of your educational savings plan are tended to. Subscribers contributions and government grants are invested in lower risk, fixed-income securities such as government issued bonds and GICs with a vision towards earning a competitive and consistent return over the life of the plan. Income from RESPs can be invested in a mix of Canadian equities, Canadian and US exchange traded funds and corporate bonds that give your investment a potential for a higher return over the lifetime of your RESP. This way, when you choose Heritage Education Funds for your children’s RESPs, you can rest assured your child’s RESP funds are strategically invested to increase returns through diversification of products and market exposure.

At Heritage Education Funds, we offer two specific types of RESPs: The Heritage Plans (group or pooled plans) and the Impression Plan (a flexible individual plan).

1. The Heritage Plan is the RESP of choice for many Canadians, as it is a pooled fund strategy that allows access to certain investment options not available with individual or self-directed RESPs.

2. The Impression Plan on the other hand, allows for flexible contributions and withdrawal of educational assistance payments on your own schedule.
