Union des consommateurs
2002
The ultimate purpose of this project is to set up a partnership to develop a national educational effort in Canada to improve consumers’ skills in the management of their personal finances. This joint effort should bring together the main stakeholders in personal finances in Canada, drawn from both the public and private sectors: the federal and provincial governments, the education sector, non-profit organizations, including consumer associations, financial institutions, financial services and other private businesses. The development of a national educational effort in Canada will make it possible to improve consumers’ skills in the management of their personal finances.
