Trademark description

An oblong with rounded corners, containing within the same a narrow band circulating from the two upper corners to the lower centre and on which is inscribed the words UNITED BROTHERHOOD OF CARPENTERS AND JOINERS OF AMERICA. This band passes under an arch containing the words UNION MADE in the centre of which is imposed a shield having a rule with cross bar, compass and plane thereon. The rule and bar have the words LABOR OMNIA VINCIT inscribed upon them. Within the oblong and surrounding the bar are the words ISSUED BY AUTHORITY OF and ORGANIZED 1881 REGISTERED 1900.
