As a songwriter that will not be a performing artist it is extremely important to me to assist your direction on copyright legislation.
The internet is here to stay, and the crooks will find ways around systems just as the banking industry is not entirely safe from identity theft, or money stolen from bank accounts etc by hackers.
I am over 50 and with 2 teens, see these kids live on their cell phones and iPods. We were the MTV generation, They are the iPod generation. They will file share.
But speaking as one who needs to see fair compensation from this practice, I urge you to consider the Songwriters of Canada's Plan to do this effectively and fairly to all concerned.
Please review their plan in earnest and give us all our just rewards!
