How do Canada's copyright laws affect you? How should existing laws be modernized?
Copyright laws protects the record industry which doesn't even bother giving a decent cut to the artist. Copyright laws are made for an outdated business model that whines it doesn't work anymore. I am proud to be a canadian in part because copyright and online sharing is not regulated. This advantages the individual over the corporations, which I think is whats best.
Based on Canadian values and interests, how should copyright changes be made in order to withstand the test of time
