Dear Sir or Madam,
- Copyright holders should not be able to compel ISPs to disclose subscriber information. This power should be reserved for public safety agencies who obtain a warrant.
- Format shifting is not a crime. If I buy a movie on DVD I should be allowed to watch it on my iPod, transport it my USB drive as an .avi file and share it amongst as many of my own devices as I so choose.
- Internet access is a right, no Canadian should have his or her access revoked unless he has been charged and convicted of a serious crime. Copyright violation doesn't cut it as a serious crime.
Thanks,
Jonathan Henderson
