I am a published author deeply worried about the unauthorized use of my work on the internet, in digital media generally, and through xerox copying. I was startled last year to discover that two of my books were being distributed, almost in their entirety, without my authorization. The issues before you are complex and I rely on organizations like Access Copyright to defend my interest. This organization has not failed me to date and I sincerely hope that its intelligent and considered voice will be well heard in your deliberations.
