Exemptions granted under the Lobbying Act

The Commissioner of Lobbying granted Mr. Mark Brosens an exemption from the five-year prohibition on lobbying, effective March 26, 2009, for the following reason:

• His employment as Special Assistant, Communications in the Office of the Leader for the Government in the House of Commons and Minister for Democratic Reform was for a short period.
