Service Standards for High-Volume Regulatory Autorizations
Service standards publicly state the level of performance that citizens can reasonably expect to encounter from Industry Canada under normal circumstances.
Timely service standards for high-volume regulatory authorizations clarify expectations and increase predicitability in the federal regulatory system. They benefit many Canadians, particularly business, who must seek permission from the federal government to either conduct a regulated activity or be exempt from it.
The following is a list of new Industry Canada service standards for high-volume regulatory autorizations:
- Service Standard for Issuance of Radio Operator Certificates - Applications for the issuance of a new Amateur Radio Operator Certificate or a new Professional Radio Operator Certificate (class GOC, ROC-MC or ROC-A) will be processed within four (4) weeks.
