Consumer products

Consumer products generally refer to a wide array of manufactured goods which are purchased primarily for personal, family and/or household purposes and include such diverse products as apparel, beverages, food, furniture, toys, major household appliances, pleasure boats, printing activities, and sporting and athletic goods. Taken together and including processed food and beverages, the Canadian consumer product industries account for close to one-third of Canada's manufacturing GDP and 40 percent of employment.
