Infrastructure Dangers

On April 27–29 the HOC HESA Committee heard submissions from five leading international researchers and one community activist of wide support, effectively condemning the existing permissive regime governing radiofrequency emissions, based on HC's "Safety" Code 6. Consult the audio record or edited written transcript available at the Parliament of Canada webpage. Unfortunately a draft report is not expected until fall, likely due to volume of submissions also in condemnation of the gross endangerment to health of existing and proposed wireless deployments. It is absurd for IC to not openly take into account such concerns, all the while touting expansion of wireless facilities likely to be of even greater danger still to all Canadians.
It should be noted that the widely declared unsustainable annual increase in health care costs have matched the mass deployment of cell telephony and associated wireless since the late 90s. Sell more atmospherically non–opaque spectrum to pay for eventual treatments of ever more Canadians? What could be more absurd than that. Canadians need leadership on development of safe alternatives, some already in existence. If possibly more costly in $ terms in the near term, the ongoing dangers are so grave, that in several decades there might be no IC or HC at all.
At the link provided, a list of recommendations currently before HESA, that have DIRECT BEARING on considerations about didgital infrastructure.
