In the growing use of GPS systems on phones or as map guidance the consumer once buying the system should not be compelled to have to buy the maps from the GPS system. Instead once bught the maps should be downloadable from the net.

In using Roadway GPS the cities should have technology that allows instant updating thus less wait times in traffic, the ability to avoid long waits for ferry systems, instant messaging by Emergency services only. The local or regional or federal Goverment instantly update you on traffic and other important information. The way it stands now if you have one system your restricted in how you get information and limatations.
