The government of Canada should subsidize internet speeds of at least 150 Mbps as a minimum for all Canadians to have access to. Let's make sure all of our educational institutions are fully updated with the most up to date technology so that all Canadians would be willing to use such computers. At the current time there is a public perception that public computers don't have the latest technology.
The public consultation period ended on July 13 2010, at which time this website was closed to additional comments and submissions. News and updates on progress towards Canada’s first digital economy strategy will be posted in our Newsroom, and in other prominent locations on the site, as they become available.
