Summary
The proposal is set up a national trade agreement with countries like US on digital privacy.
The definition of privacy need redefinition to reflect realities of market. Current provincial and federal rules are out–of–date and different across canada. There should be one uniform policy.
Submission
Cloud computing (really internet or network solution) will replace local and desktop computing. mobility devices are growing at an exponential rate compared to traditional desktops and laptops.
The internet does not have provincial or national boundaries. However, many of federal and provincial laws on privacy are a barrier and out–of–touch with this reality. The proposal is set up a trade agreement with countries like US on digital privacy.
