Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) regulations

The CRTC has published final regulations related to Canada's anti-spam legislation. A copy of the regulations can be found on the CRTC website.

Governor in Council draft regulations

A revised set of proposed Electronic Commerce Protection Regulations for the anti-spam legislation were published in Part I of the Canada Gazette for a consultation period of 30 days beginning January 5 and ending February 4, 2013. Copies of the submissions received during the consultation period of January 5 – February 4, 2013 are available on the comments on proposed regulations 2013 page.

A first set of draft regulations were published for consultation in the Canada Gazette from July 9 – September 7, 2011. Copies of the submissions received during the consultation period of July 9 – September 7, 2011 are available on the comments on proposed regulations 2011 page.

All regulations will come into force at the same time as the legislation, when they receive final Governor in Council approval.
