Key Small Business Statistics is a semi-annual publication that provides baseline data on the small business sector in Canada. The first issue, usually published in the first half of a year, provides statistics on a special topic while the second issue, published in July, provides general statistics on small business. The next edition of Key Small Business Statistics will include updated data on job creation, earnings by business size, numbers of self-employed workers and small business contribution to Canada's gross domestic product.
