Minister Clement Meets with Industry and Innovation Leaders in Vancouver, British Columbia

The Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, touring the CTV studios at the 2010 Winter Olympics International Broadcast Centre.
During his trip to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games from February 18 to 20 and 26 to 28, 2010, the Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, met with international government officials and key industry stakeholders, including University of British Columbia President Stephen Toope and Canadian Tourism Commission President and CEO Michele McKenzie.
Strengthening relations with both Canadian and international government and business leaders, Minister Clement attended a variety of events, including the Visa Travel and Tourism Summit and a breakfast hosted by the Canadian Tourism Commission with representatives of the Chinese travel industry.
Minister Clement also toured Olympic pavilions where Canadian industries and tourism offerings are showcased to the world in an effort to highlight business opportunities and celebrate Canadian culture.
