On March 12, 2010, the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), was joined in Toronto by the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, to announce funding of $10 million from year two of Canada's Economic Action Plan to support the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF). The Ministers were joined by representatives of the CYBF, including Vice-Chairman David Stewart-Patterson and Director of Government Relations Megan Harris.

The investment was provided in Budget 2010: Leading the Way on Jobs and Growth, and builds on an investment of $10 million made in year one of Canada's Economic Action Plan.
