On June 1, 2010, the Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, along with other federal and provincial dignitaries, joined Kevin Williams (seated at left), President and Managing Director, GM Canada, who announced a $245-million investment at the General Motors powertrain facility in St. Catharines, Ontario, to produce new fuel-efficient six-speed transmissions.
