The Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, with Professor Stephen Hawking, Distinguished Research Chair at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario. Professor Hawking, the world's most renowned living scientist, will be working at Perimeter for six weeks this summer. Minister Clement welcomed Professor Hawking on behalf of the Government of Canada at a reception in Waterloo on June 20.
