Government of Canada and Prince Edward Island Support Innovation in Charlottetown's Ceapro Inc.

From left to right: Mr. David Fielder, Chief Scientific Officer at Ceapro Inc., the Honourable George Webster, Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Premier of Prince Edward Island, the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and Member of Parliament (Egmont), and the Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology) at the announcement that Alberta-based Ceapro Inc. has expanded to Atlantic Canada with a lab presence at the National Research Council (NRC) in Charlottetown.
The announcement included details about federal and provincial contributions and investments in the natural health products company through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and PEI's Department of Innovation and Advanced Learning, and research collaborations with NRC and other cluster partners in PEI's bioscience sector.
