The Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), welcomed Akshay Kumar, a leading film and pop star in India, as the Canadian Tourism Commission’s new tourism ambassador for India.

Following the announcement, Minister of State Moore posed with fellow participants (left to right): the Honourable John Baird, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities; the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism); Akshay Kumar, Canadian Tourism Commission’s ambassador for India; Michele McKenzie, President and Chief Executive Officer, Canadian Tourism Commission; and Ajay Virmani, President and Chief Executive Officer, Cargojet.
