Minister of State Moore Meets with Tourism Stakeholders in Saskatoon

On December 2, 2010, the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), held a round-table discussion in Saskatoon to seek feedback from tourism operators and representatives from area municipalities. They had a very productive discussion about the many tourism opportunities in Saskatchewan and how the Government of Canada can work with the local tourism sector in capitalizing on Saskatchewan's unique potential. Minister of State Moore also discussed the development of the Federal Tourism Strategy and how the Government of Canada will work with tourism sector partners to increase awareness of Canada abroad, facilitate access to Canada for visitors, encourage the development of tourism products and foster a strong workforce.
