Minister Clement Celebrates Canadian Research Excellence

The Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, announced the winners of Canada's top natural sciences and engineering prizes awarded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), including: the NSERC André Hamer Postgraduate Prizes; the NSERC Howard Alper Postdoctoral Prize; the NSERC E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowships; the Synergy Awards for Innovation; the Brockhouse Canada Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Engineering; the NSERC John C. Polanyi Award; and the Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal for Science and Engineering.
The event was held in the Canada in Space Exhibition Room of the Canada Science and Technology Museum.
