Minister of State Bernier Announces Funding to Support Young Entrepreneurs

The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism) announced $20 million in funding for the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) over two years. He also participated in a roundtable discussion with eight young CYBF entrepreneurs. The event was held at Groupe 3R in Montreal, a company owned by a young entrepreneur who benefited from CYBF support in the past. Minister Bernier was joined by Mr. Jean-François Aubry, President and Designer, Groupe 3R; Catherine Swift, Chairwoman, President and CEO Canadian Federation of Independent Business; François Delorme, Executive Director, Quebec Region, Industry Canada; Vivian Prokop, chief executive officer of CYBF; and seven young entrepreneurs.
