Government of Canada Announces Research Funding to Drive Job Creation and Economic Growth

The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for Science and Technology, was at the University of Alberta to announce support for 132 research projects in 31 communities across Canada to be delivered through the Canada Foundation for Innovation.

The Minister (left) was joined by Dr. Thomas Thundat, Canada Excellence Research Chair in Oil Sands Molecular Engineering (centre) and Dr. Graham Pearson, Canada Excellence Research Chair in Arctic Resources.
