Minister of State Goodyear views a demonstration of Recon Instruments' heads-up display technology, shown used in ski goggles that provide the wearer with displays of real-time information, such as altitude and speed. He visited the company's Vancouver headquarters to announce a $35-million investment in Mitacs, a national, not-for-profit research organization. The funding supports industrial research and development internships for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.
