Ouafaa Douab, Executive Vice-President, Business Development and Corporate Affairs

Ouafaa Douab joined the CRC in September 2014.

Before moving to the CRC, Ouafaa worked at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) in international business and sector/market development, advisory, managerial and executive roles. Her extensive knowledge of the Department has proven to be instrumental in ensuring continuity of CRC's alignment with ISED priorities.

At CRC Ouafaa focuses on the functions that support research, including business development, project management, finance, policy, communications, administrative services, as well as information management and information technology. Her in-depth experience in corporate functions has helped to ensure consistency with ISED and Government of Canada businesses processes.

Ouafaa held other positions in the federal government including with the Canadian Heritage and the Privy Council Office.

Ouafaa has a Masters degree (International Relations) and a Bachelors degree (Political Science) from the University of Ottawa.
