Mr. Wade Daley is the Vice President of Digital Technologies

Mr. Wade Daley is the Vice President of Digital Technologies, responsible for the research on big data analytics, virtual reality and augmented reality. He joined the organization in 2016 and brings over 30 years of experience in information technology and telecommunications.

Prior to joining the CRC, Mr. Daley was Chief Technology Officer of the Government of Canada working at Treasury Board Secretariat, and previously served in senior executive IT positions at Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Health Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the Canada Firearms Centre.

Prior to joining the Government of Canada, Mr. Daley was a senior executive of three telecom start-ups, and spent 17 years at Nortel and Bell Northern Research, where he held positions based in Canada and in Europe, leading teams developing advanced telecom and data networking products.

Mr. Daley has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Carleton University.
