Project Description

This project involves construction of a 156,000 square foot campus in Mississauga. The facility includes 14 classrooms, two computer labs, three workrooms, a library and learning commons, an access centre and meeting rooms, and faculty, trainer and administrative offices.

Primary Areas of Benefit

  1. Expands or enhances utility of training space: The new centre improves training space by accommodating an additional 2,706 students and 7,500 continuing-education students. Seven new programs in digital media are being added, creating 450 new co-op and internship programs. In addition, the facility is used for retraining 560 unemployed, foreign-trained professionals and new Canadians and fast-tracking them into the workplace.
