Project Description

This project involves upgrading the 40 year-old main electrical distribution system on the Burridge campus, including new wiring, transformers, panels, and bus duct systems.

Primary Areas of Benefit

  1. Improves energy efficiency: Upgrading the electrical system reduces energy consumption and operating costs.
  2. Upgrades the health and safety aspects of facilities: The new electrical system is safer than the former outdated system. Furthermore, the replacement of transformers supports the phase out of the PCB appliances at NSCC's campuses.
