Project Description

This project involves replacing the wooden curtain wall of Cumberland campus with a modern, aluminum and Thermopane system.

Primary Areas of Benefit

  1. Upgrades health and safety aspects of facilities: This project eliminates safety risks associated with the age and condition of the existing structure by removing hazardous materials, including cement asbestos board.
  2. Improves energy efficiency: The new wall reduces overall energy consumption on the campus and carbon dioxide emissions by 2.8 tonnes per year.
