Project Description

This project involves renovating 9,000 square feet of the interior to accommodate a new library, computer commons and student commons. The project also includes installing a new curtain wall and windows.

Primary Areas of Benefit

  1. Expands or enhances utility of training space: Renovations enhance learning space, library services and offices for faculty and students.
  2. Upgrades health and safety aspects of facilities: New windows reduce the risk of leaks and mould growth, thereby improving the health and safety of the facilities for staff and students.
  3. Improves energy efficiency: Renovations and upgrades increase energy efficiency of the facility and are estimated to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2.1 tonnes per year.
