Project Description

This project involves replacing the 40-year-old curtain wall of Wings B and C on Kingstec campus. Work includes removing original wood-frame components and windows and replacing them with aluminum-framed, double-glazed tinted windows.

Primary Areas of Benefit

  1. Upgrades health and safety aspects of facilities: Replacing the curtain wall improves the health and safety of the facility by eliminating hazardous materials from the structure, including cement asbestos board.
  2. Improves energy efficiency: New windows and insulated spandrel panels reduce reduces carbon emissions and annual energy costs.
