Université Sainte-Anne
Project: Combined Technologies Project
Total Project Cost:
$2,553,000
Total KIP Funding:
$1,275,168
Status of Project: Substantially completed
Project Description
This project involves replacing non-renewable fuel energy-generating systems with renewable solar, wind and biomass energy-generating systems. The new systems include a wood chip fuelled hot water boiler, a solar thermal system for domestic hot water, and a wind turbine to supply a portion of electrical energy needs. The Solar component is the largest solar installation in Nova Scotia.
